1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Task Nibbler ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Task Nibbler is a task management application that helps users break down projects into smaller, manageable tasks. The Service includes:

• Project and task creation with hierarchical organization
• Visual task tree with drag-and-drop functionality
• Context-based task filtering (location, time, energy level)
• Task dependencies and savings goals tracking
• Collaboration features for sharing projects
• Email and SMS notifications (premium feature)
• Geolocation-based reminders (premium feature)
• Data export capabilities (premium feature)

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate information including your name, email address, and password. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Free and Premium Tiers

Free Tier: Includes up to 2 projects, 30 tasks total, and 1 collaborator. Does not include geolocation features, SMS reminders, or email reminders.

Premium Tier: Includes unlimited projects, tasks, and collaborators, plus all features including geolocation, notifications, and data export.

5. Payment Terms

Premium subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in the Service (projects, tasks, templates). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Template Marketplace

Users may create and share templates in our free marketplace. By sharing a template, you grant other users the right to use and modify it. Templates may be hidden or removed by our staff if they violate these terms.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Upload malicious content or spam
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

9. SMS and Email Communications

By opting in to SMS notifications, you consent to receive text messages related to your tasks and reminders. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time through your account settings.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
